Banknotes of Rwanda[edit]

We have no information about Rwanda's copyright rules regarding banknotes (Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Rwanda). According to the rule Commons:Currency we have assume that these images arn't free (Commons:Currency#Map). — — Redboston 01:38, 19 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Maybe someone has an idea and will post it here, which would be nice, but if there's no available information about this, regardless of what Commons does, other Wikis should upload the photos they're using locally and use them. Give us a week or two to discuss this at other Wikis, as a nomination with no evidence of copyright violation is definitely not urgent to delete. Unfortunately, no-one has come forward to offer any information in this thread about Rwandese copyright in regard to currency, but we uploaded a photo locally at Wikivoyage, so I have no problem with all of these being deleted from Commons now.   •  Delete we have no indication that these are PD. The Creative Commons tags on the files are dubious and unsupported. Recent currency is copyright in the majority of countries. If we have no specific info about currency in Rwanda, we should assume the situation is that of general Rwanda copyright - copyrighted for 50 years from first publication. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 04:19, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
